Unfortunately due to a copy write dispute with the original creator of the comic I "used to" produce, I can no longer have "this" comic up on the internet. I'm not really sure what I can mention (for legal reasons) so I'll only refer to it as "this" comic. All comics have been removed from this blog and will no longer be on display. To tell you the truth I'm pretty bummed about it since I've been working on this strip for a number of years now but hopefully I'll be moving on to bigger and better things. Thanks to all those who help build the ramp this past weekend! This is gonna be a great summer for myself and others brave enough to attempt the ramp and experience the injuries that come along with it. I myself have already slammed both shins across the coping and have two very large bruises to show for it. I will update this so called "art blog" with any cool new photos that I can take. Good news and bad news depends the way you look at it. I finally got a new full time job as a Graphic Designer and that means I won't be as broke anymore...I hope! Unfortunately I will have even less work to post up here on my piece of shit blog. Which is a good thing or a bad thing depending on the way yo look at it. Anyway, still nothing in the way of work to post up but I found this cool video of some really ultra famous street artist of our generation all collaborating to do a super show in France. I thought that some of you that are checking out my blog would find this interesting since some of you come here to check out some art work no matter how crappy mine is. Hope you enjoy!

I haven't posted in forever because I have been really trying to focus more on my figure drawings and also finding a full time job. I also pretty much ran out of good ideas for the Ira & Drac strip. I'm still looking for a writer for it so if any one is up for the task or know anyone who would be good for it let me know. Anyway, here are some shitty sketches that I have been working on this month. There all about 5 min sketches done in ink in my 9" x 6" in sketch book. Any comments or feedback are welcome. I completely reworked the robo chick painting because the last one was pretty much crap. I'm not too sure that this one isn't either but who knows it may actually be good and I don't even know it. I'm still going to be working on it but since my posts have been fewer and further between I thought that I should get something up here. I would liked to have the new Ira and Drac up today but I sort of have writers block and I'm not really sure what the next one should be about. Updates soon, I hope!

Robot Chick Work in Progress

I know I haven't been posting much in the last couple weeks and its due mostly to the work I've had to do for some clients. I'm still painting as much as I can but have no finished works to show. The subject of this painting is a little over done(sci-fi robot chicks) but I though I'd take a crack at it cause it always seemed like a fun thing to paint. It's still a work in progress but I wanted something to post before everyone who comes and looks at this blog stops showing up. If anyone has any feedback or comments you know where to send it. As of late, I have not been able to post much due to the fact that I have gotten a couple of freelance jobs. It's great because I need the money but it would be even better if they paid more recently cause I'm still broke. I talk so much about being broke that I should probably rename this blog the "Dion complains about being broke all the time Blog!". Anyway, I am posting a song since I have no work to post up in its place but hopefully this website I'm doing will be done soon and I can get back to the work that I actually enjoy doing. Manual is an electronic artist out of Denmark comprised of a dude named Jonas Munk and some other contributors. If your interested in the sound, the album is called "Until Tomorrow".

This painting was really frustrating cause no matter what I did to it, the damn thing wouldn't work. I guess I was going for a more of a cartoony look to it but it just ended up looking weird and over worked. Not to mention, that I suck at doing backgrounds. I'm still not sure why I'm posting this piece but I guess its just a log of my progression as a painter.

Peanut Has Been De-Virginized

Thursday afternoon I found my dog Peanut getting-it-on with this little white dog from around the block. I'm not sure if that means that she's pregnant or not, cause she's not fixed, but we're getting her spayed, finally, next week. The funniest part about this whole ordeal is when I found her stuck together with this little white dog, a little 10 year old runt across the street saw them attached butt to butt and asked me, "is that dogs tail stuck up that other dog's ass". I simply answered him, " no, they just finished having sex". He stared at the two glued together dogs for a few more moments and walked off mystified. I'm not sure if I scared this kid for life or imparted a very important life lesson. Either way, I believe I have affected this boys life for years to come.

Mr. Show is one of my favorite shows of all time and as a late christmas present Paolo got me a bottle of Emotion Lotion. When I saw it I just about shit myself from laughter and the fact that the product actually exists. It comes from the "Bloopertron and the Superstar Machine" episode of Mr. show but it was taken off of Youtube because of some stupid restrictions. In its place, I put probably the next funniest video from this wonderful show, "Larry Kleist-Rapist". I know its doesn't explain why my 26 year old male cousin bought me a bottle of lube for christmas but once I find the actual video it will all make sense...I promise.

MacBook Air

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love Apple and its products, thats why I had to write about this new product launch. For anyone who doesn't know by now, the MacBook Air was released today at Macworld and its amazingly thin. its actually .16 inches thick at its thinest part and .76 inches thick at its thickest. That's really thin! I'm not really sure I like that its thicker at one end than the other, its black keyboard, and also its rounded corners but it's so small! Plus it has a multitouch track pad. I just about jizzed myself when I first heard about it. I would be completely sold if I had $1800 bucks laying around to spend but I don't. Sucks to be poor!

I think this is one of the only shirts that I have created so far that I would actually wear accept maybe for the the Red Phantom shirt that I made last year. I finally finished this painting after four or five days of work. That may not seem like very much to some people but I haven't done a painting like this in years. It's going really well so far, surprisingly, and I think that this new digital painting thing is going to be great for me.
